17s are too small, 20s are too big...

thinking either 18s or 19s at this point. If I go the route of 18s, will SL55 wheels fit my W211? Here are the specs:

FRONT WHEEL:
18 X 8.5". OFFSET 30MM WITH 255/40/ZR18.

REAR WHEEL:
18 X 9.5". OFFSET 33MM WITH 285/35/ZR18.

The Wheels & offset seem to be ok, but, not sure about the tires... or, I could be completely wrong and nothing will fit... Thats why I'm asking.

yea, i seen that car... it is absolutely stunning... i just wonder if the tires will fit... 255/285 is pretty wide... most folks here run 245/275... any thoughts?

I am running 285 in the back with 255 in the front on the SL65 AMG rims and they fit fine. No rubbing issues at all. Go for it. The car will look gorgeous.
