Removing Caution Sunvisor Stickers

Ok, I pulled them off. That was easy enough, but there is still a small residue (adhesive) remaining. Anyone know a good way to remove it. Even with the residue, it looks better than those blasted stickers.

I was going to try goo gone. I don't want to make it worse or stain them.

Do not use Goo Gone - you'll end up with a mess.

Energine (sometimes in supermarkets) if still available cleanly removes glue residues. Energine is nothing more than Naptha which is available in paint supply stores or Home Depot.

I have used rubbing alcohol in the past, and it has worked for me

I used my heatgun on low setting with a combination of oxyclean and water.

That purple degreaser you can get at pep boys. I used it to clean the fabric near the feet area. Worked great! Royal purple, I think its called.

I had my dealer remove them when the car was new. I hate those UGLY stickers too! Good luck!

I love GOO GONE, but I definitely wouldn't use it for this job.

I used Naptha on mine when they were new. Naptha is also sold in small cans as lighter fluid.
