Can someone tell me the part number and price of the AUX IN cable for the W211 COMAND APS.
My 2003 W211 doesn’t have an AUX cable but my COMAND APS head unit does have an AUX connector on the back (see attached picture).

I believe newer W211 models (after 2004) already have such a cable installed which goes into the glove box where you can connect any audio source with a 3.5mm mini plug.

Once I get this cable I'm thinking of passing it to the center console instead of the glove box. Is the MB AUX cable long enough to reach the armrest console?

I have made an enquiry at my local MB dealer but they only know about the iPod integration kit. I don't own an iPod so all I really need is the AUX cable for connecting external audio sources.

I looked in the glove of my 04 and didn't see any wires... can anyone confirm that the 04 plus have this?

I can't confirm that a given '04 will have it, seeing as how I have an '03, but I hear tell that there aren't any wires in the glove box, just an input jack - on the left side, I recall, though I could be wrong about that. Empty the glove box and look around with a flashlight. You may get lucky.

Ok, 04 does have this jack, it is confirm. Don't look to far in, on the upper part of the glove compartment towards the front.
