air conditioning
the vent settings make no sense to me on the e350. when i put the a/c on auto and then turn the fan down i get excellent flow of air thru the mid vents. but when i use the vent switch and choose the mid vents (rightmost red light) - then the air flow is less and there is flow thru the lower vents too at the same fan setting.
can someone explain this to me.

I just went through the same scenario with my 06 e350.
Sounds crazy but this is the way it is designed. I would call it over designed. best bet leave on auto. check my a/c thread.
