I don't think white is the best color for this car.

I like the white colour on the car, but not with the panoramic roof. I think with the new roof - you need to get a darker colour. Brilliant silver or black would be a nice set up for this car.

 

I don't mind the roof so much I just think white makes the car look small.

 

Really!. When I get home I am going to throw out all my White Underwear!

white is the best looking car to me, either that or wedge wood blue, or pac blue. I know a lot of ppl would say im dumb about white and wegde blue, but damn man, if u waz your car, that would look hot as ****

i think its those pics that are ruining the white E...

 

in those pix......where is the hood star......it is a u.s. vehicle right....the steering is on the left, but it has no star on the hood, does dealer do that?

 

Good catch on the star bmms8. I think that is done by the dealer

 

White is a nice color, it looks nice on this car too.

 

The more I see the new E-Class, the more I would like to get one. Whether your into sportiness or luxory, I dont think you can go wrong with this car. I think it would look good in most MB colours. Just a matter of taste.

Thanks for posting those pics, i love white on cars, especially big sedans, they look more luxurious. But i cannot decide, an E500 comes with standard metallic paint, it would be a waste if i chose a standard paint job, but the only metallic paint i like with is obsidian black, which comes with an eternety of washing and detailing etc. Silver is such a sporty color, but too common, if you think MB you think silver. Too bad MB doesnt offer a custom paint specified by the buyer.

 

I was considering b silver and desert silver but decided against them because they are too common. I ended up wit pewter. It's a new color that should be easy to maintain. I've had white cars but just don't like it on the E. I alos love black but am not willing to do all the work to keep it looking it's best. To each their own. good luck.

 

silver is great, but it will look like every other car on the road. thats the problem.

i own a black car right now, and i love to clean it, because when its clean..its the nicest car on the road, however, i would NOT recommend a black car to anoybody after owning this, because i am doubtful that someone else has my patience with cleaning cars.

Mercedes White is one of the nicest white paint jobs i have EVER seen. I saw a shortbase S430 and a CL500 in white yesterday, they are truly amazing.

The E500 is NOT a small car by an means, the white will look just as good as it did with the S-class.

I thought the E500 was kind of small in the pics, but after seeing it in real life, in any color, there is no way to mistake it for a C-class, if anything it will be mistake for a S-class.

My dads E500 is going to be white, and I'l make sure to take pics in a few months when it arrives.

 

yea, all white ,bz do look very good....i havent seen a new e-class on the road, but the two most beautiful cars i have seen is prob the white c-sedans, and the goldish c-sedans...those are very very nice. And i think the white looks good because of the sparkly lenses, it isnt shaded anywhere, so it does look very very luxorius
