Solar Cell roof or Climate seats.

ohhhhhh man....................the solar cells!!, they are so ****ing good. Jesus, we test drove a e430 one day, and it had them. I forgot what she did to turn them on, i think she flipped them or something....but in less than 10 seconds.....the whole car was very cool. I thought that was the best feature on the car....i didnt get it on my e500, cuz we thought we wont drive it that much

sorry, we test dorve both, e320, and e430.....it was a long time ago, before we new about the 2003......sorry, it might of beewn the e320. I dont remember..all i remember were these vent looking thing on the front of the moonroof. But they do work very well

i would prefer the ventilated seats, if you have once driven....u know they are awsome!!
but like everything you have to try it by ourself and decide what u like. but these seats are worth a try

I have the solar sunroof in my audi right now and it kicks ***. It much cooler inside my car then others withouut it. Though i think have a glass roof is better. Get the vented seats and get an auto starter. That way you can start the car before you get in the seats will turn on as well as the AC.

2003 MB E500
At almost $1K option price for solor in the 500, I have a hard time justifying the cost when i can roll down the windows for a minute and crank the A/C to cool the car off. Even then where I live that is only 4 months out of the year at the most. For me it wasn't worth it.
