Best Deals On E350?

i have been calling around for new prices as it seems there are some good deals around.
i recall from previous threads that the guys were talking $8000 of sticker....
the best i can get to is about $5 and the dealers dont seem interested to do more.
example- 2006 e350 silver/charcoal with prem package (526) is about $54600 and the deal is $49600.....

this is also close to the price of $50013 as listed on mbusa website.

am i missing something or is that it.....?

this is in south florida....are there regional diff. in price?

Are you buying it or leasing it? The money factor is great on leases, as they want to dump the '06s. If you will be making payments, I suggest you look more into the terms of the ENTIRE deal. They may offer you a heck of a discount off MSRP and then shaft you with interest rate or trade-in.

Just as ballpark, your sticker can be had for about $2000 drive off and $500/month for a 36 month lease. You can also get $1800 drive off and ~$550/month for 27 months.

Best of luck and post pics. The used E500 may also be a great choice. Is it a CPO? If so, give it a couple grand more than you would one that was not.

thanks jangy

it would be a straight cash deal...i want to keep it simple...
i am seriously now considering a used 05/06 e500.

i worry with the 06 350's as the 06 has been out since early last year and the 07 "update" comming out soon might affect their prices negatively. (new prices are so close if not sometimes less than used)

I'd say you are on the right track. Either car will be great. A new 350 is, well new. The '05 E500 is a V8, and a nice smooth one at that. The HP on the two is close, but the grunt of the V8 is different. Also, either one should be fairly reliable as many of the electrical bugs were somewhat addressed by '05 MY.

HEY... I was an 8K guy... hahahah... It was actually an apples to oranges deal. I was low balled on my 02 E320 SE 29K miles trade in at $21.5k. I bought a 06 Pewter E350 with full leather, multi-disc and sunroof package. MSRP was $54,900. I got it for $46,750... plus tax. I dropped approx $2,220 and pay 600 month with 12K miles per year for 39 months.

The E500 is faster and has more features. The E55 can get almost get down the track and back before I reach the finish line... but... for a V6 with the ride... it is what it is. It won't win races, it isn't AMG, doesn't handle like a slot car... it just does all this with good balance. I am not missing the power of a V8 as much as I did in my 02... The E350 just feels stronger... also.. the lease deal seem to keep getting better and better... mine is a little high...
Anthony

keep in mind.. Torque gets you going... HP gets you tickets! hahahah
