strange behavior with CDs on COMAND.

It's odd, but when ever there is a CD in my primary CD player (in the COMAND), not the 6-disc.. my screen goes from it's normal mode of operation to just displaying the "Digital Disc" trademark logo and that's it.. all black otherwise.. and I can't access my other COMAND functions.. If I hit the "ok" button on the up down/left right control it temporarily goes to normal, then back again.

Anyone seen this? Do I need to take it in?

thanks

Yes. It has to go to the dealer. Its "hanging up" due to some software conflict somewhere. I had it & they fixed it. Now I have titles appear on my MFD instead of "Track 16" when I play a CD.

Thanks Barry, got an apt tomorrow to get it done.. so it's just a software update you say?

btw.. anyone know how to reset the service reminder with out the Star Diag? I've done all of the stuff on the A, plus a lot more, but since I did it at an independent MB shop the dealer won't reset it unless I pay to do it with them? Makes sense.. I suppose.

Surprised they didn’t reset it, or was the matter simply overlooked?
