The AUX input in the glove box...
just thought I would pass on something that worked for me. When I went to plug my ipod into the AUX port (through an amplified line-in from Belkin) there was a ton of static and distortion. So I decided to buy a little in line ground loop adapter that connects between the two and it now is crystal clear.
I don't know if this is a problem for others but I thought I would pass the info along...
Crutchfield is the only company I could find that has a "front end" ground loop isolator:
