Need help with burning MP3 DVD's
I searched everywhere on the forum and found no definitive answer on how to burn DVD MP3 disk that will work in '05 - '06 COMMAND.
I tried burning DVD's using Roxio, Nero, iTunes with variety of file systems (UTF, ISO, Julian) as Data and Audio disks all to no avail.
My COMMAND will either simply eject the disk or say "CD Error".
I was able to burn MP3's as data files on CD and it worked fine in the COMMAND.
Could someone please clarify if it is even possible to burn MP3's on to DVD so COMMAND will be able to read the disk and play MP3's; if yes what Windows PC compatible software and software setting have you used.
Your help is HIGHLY appreciated!

I have the same problem with MP3 DVDs in my '06. I read somewhere that MB removed both the DVD decoder and DVD drive HW from the US spec COMMANDs. Now, I would guess that if you installed a DVD drive you should be able to read DVD data discs (MP3) and you should be good.
If you don't want to mess with that then you will have to get a Euro spec COMMAND (check eBay or MBenzNL). They run about $1K and you will get the option to be able to view DVD movies on the screen but if you have Sirius then the 'Sat' button becomes DVD and I am not sure if you can integrate both. Satelite radio doesn't exist in Europe so it is not that big a deal.
I am going back and forth if I should take the COMMAND out and take it apart to see if the CD drive can be swapped to a DVD.

My COMMAND is US spec, so I am not even sure that it is capable of reading DVD's.
Could someone please confirm?
