CD changer on 06 E350 stuck

My wife's 06 E350 4Matic with 9K miles CD changer just stopped working. It won't play any of the CDs, won't eject the CDs but the wood door would open. Does someone have the fix for this or should I take it to the dealer? I'd like to try this board first before going to the dealer as it is so inconvenient.

Thanks in advance

Try pulling fuse 6 wait minute or so, replace then start the car. This should temporarily remedy the situation. There was a DTB issued back in AUG05, P-B-82.64/458 stating the issue may be related to a CAN communication error between the Head Unit and the Upper Control Panel (UCP).

My reco,, it is under warranty. There are no instructions in the owners manual to deal with this situation. If there is a system problem MB needs to know to find a fix. If a fix is available you should have it done. Have a nice day. Jim
