E500 too damn Quiet!
Where is the V8 rumble? I attended the E-Motion event this weekend in DC Metro area. I drove the E500 around the test track course 4 times with the windows down and the Panarama Roof open to get a more thrilling riding experience. I drove it as hard and fast and shifted the auto mostly in 1st and 2nd gear. 60-70 mph was the limit for the straitaway section on the course they had. The car is dead silent - which I did not like. This car needs some performance mufflers ASAP. Of course I made the Girl Friend scream - she thought I was driving like a maniac.

Of course the E55 is more fun to drive. However, it does handle better than the E430. I like the Air suspension. The cars handling seem more predictable and hard to throw off track. The car seems very "idiot proof" - meaning a bad driver can drive the car well. It seemed hard to break the tires loose or squeal.
