I too have a Platinum Blue on order. Web site now shows incorrect color - definately not what is shown in any brochure or other web site. I've e-mailed them at the web site to inquire/correct but haven't heard back yet.
As far as the Navigation, he stated that I could pay for it now, (Approx. $2100.00) and so when it arrives in 3 to 6 months from now, they'll install it without charging extra. He mentioned that if I opt to get it later it may run around $4000.00

Most other luxury car mfrs. charge around $2,000.- for a DVD-based navi system.
Retro-fitting is always a risky undertaking, because of possible collateral damage.
On the navigation "retro fit", I understand that the cars are coming "pre-wired" for the later installation of the navigation system.
"to install (new or modified parts or equipment) in something previously manufactured or constructed."
The E is pre-wired for sure, however that has nothing to do with the high risk of collateral damage during retrofitting.
