Hi guys! I have a 04' E500 but one of my key's plastic button parts have shattered. I can start the ignition, but I cant lock/unlock/trunk. The red light doesnt light up either. Assuming that its not covered by warranty about how much would I have to pay to have it replaced. Or do you think maybe its just the housing being busted and my batteries being dead. Maybe I can just hop on ebay and purchase a used housing and swap out the internals? I noticed on the C class thread (after a search) that there is a new key. Can i possibly use the niftier looking key? Thanks a bunch guys!
