NAV prompts in MFD

I got a MB Dealer to re-program my MOST ring after retro fitting my NAV. However I do not see the NAV prompts in my Multifunction Display (dash board) Is there something I need to do to turn this on? do I need to be in radio/video mode for the prompts to show? Thanks all!!

reprogramming the MOST ring doesn't give you a nav dsplay in the IC - a nav display in the IC only appears after that has been enabled through stardiagnose in teh actual IC

turns out that having the Euro Comand with Euro software stops me from getting these nav prompts on the MFD.

Does anyone here have a Euro Commad with video and is able to get NAV prompts in the MFD?

Thanks MbenzNL, I also asked that it be enabled using STAR diagnose. The dealer says that the COMAND is not communicating the NAV prompts even after enabling it via star. Is this the case or do they not know what the hell they are talking about? Maybe they didnt actually enable it and are trying to swindle me!?

I'd say that they don't know what the hell they are doing as usual.

If the NAV is version coded ( or instrument cluster ) properly, even if you do not have the nav on, it will show heading ( and street )on the MFD. OTherwise it will skip that page all together.

They did the same **** to me and charged me 94 bucks and I didn't know until I saw another car with the same setup as me.

Thanks guy! I called them screaming...then they looked at some Tech bulletins and found that they could do it. Went in there and they hooked me up!
