E-Class DVD/Nav Upgrade Info
"As you know, DVD Navigation will become available on the all-new E-Class in early Spring '03. The retail price of the system will be $2,125 and we are pleased to announce that it will be retrofittable to vehicles delivered between now and next Spring.
In consideration of the "non-usage" period between now and availability of the system next year, the retail price of $2,125 should be discounted by $500 for those customers who choose this option up front, but are taking delivery of their cars without the system. For your MBC lease customers choosing this option during this time, it can be written into their lease (using the discounted retail price of $1,625). MBC will lease new 2003 E-Class vehicles with full consideration of the DVD/NAV option ($2,125) factored into the residual. "

What do you guys think?
At least, it is better than someone gets a CD based NAV now and becomes obsolete in a few months. You get things right the first time.
Anyway, I wouldn't wait around until Spring to get the car....get it and enjoy it. With the incentive MB is offering, its a no brainer.

I don't know how you can rely on the salesperson's info. I am still going to wait to get a factory installed nav
Whatever, wait until Spring (that will leave one spot open so someone else can get their car early).
