well after paying for a 2006.2 disc to upgrade from a 2005.3 I am gravely disappointed in the complete lack of street updates for the phoenix area.. we've gown a lot in the past 2 years and there is no excuse for some of the streets that were made 2 years ago to not be included on the new disc!

Glad I didn't pay the ripoff $275 price for the darn thing!

In other words, it's virtually the same as your 2005.3 disc.

As has been pointed out, the street data on a newly released disc was gathered over a year before the disc was released. I replaced a disc in years past, & I wouldn't replace a disc on a new car until after 3+ years have passed, and then not expect much of an improvement.

So my over all impression is that NAV Update discs are not worth what they charge for them.

I have a rental home in the town of Buckeye that sits on a street that is over 2 years old and nil.. more over, there is a development near where I live that is 3 years old now and most of it is still missing.. with the rapid rate of growth some areas have seen, it would make sense that at least those outlying areas would get some attention. I'm curious to see how they've done for the Bay Area where my mom's E350 is.. I'll have to bring the disc and see.

Hey all
I have an 07 that came with the 2006.1. My house was built four years ago and it isn't on the disk. What determined what version you got when you picked up your car?

Q6460223 is version 2006.2.
I upgraded my 06 with this and have not noticed this feature.

The amount of inventory in stock of the old disc at the time all the accessories were thrown into the car. They don't throw out all remaining stock of the old discs just because a new one has been released.

Furthermore, the current disc 2006.2 (BQ 6460223) was released 12/29/06. Vehicles delivered after this release date with 2006.1 are entitled to the newest version. The dealer should be cooperative. If not contact MBUSA and have your VIN handy. For those who do not know, the installed version can be checked by ejecting the disc from the navigation drive on the left side of your trunk.
