Are these maintenance cost estimates ok?
My dealer quoted the following prices for these maintenance items according to Alldata on a 2003 E500:
Flush engine anti freeze / coolant and change it $280
Replace cabin air filters $80 If car
is equipped with activated charcoal filters, then add $160
Oil change in rear differential
$125
Replace spark plugs between $730 and $819
Automatic transmission oil and filter change $450
Change engine air filter $150
Are these prices in line with what other people have paid?

Your dealer is ripping you a new one
Follow proV1's advice.
The air filter and the cabin filters retail for about $10 each.
The spark plugs are about $20 each (on the high side)
BTW, how many miles are on the car?
The only thing that I would suggest is to have the transmission service done. I think his price is high, but if you plan to keep the car do it. It is cheap insurance.
Go to an independent shop, or another dealer. Shop around.

Is this what I have to look forward to being a first time MB owner. I only have 3300 miles and I already am dreading the day a service comes up. Are these DIY maintenance fine with the MB warranty? WIll they still cover the vehicle if one desides to do most maintenance him/herself?
