Changing additional turning lights

Does anyone know how to change the bulbs/lights on the turning signal mounted on the side mirrors? I've changed all other turning bulbs from yellow to white except for this one. Please post instructions and places of where to buy or have it done.

Thanks

The side mirrors hold LED's, so changing them out may be tough.

How'd you change out the rear tail light blinkers?

Tbone,

I was going to ask the same question -- not because I want to change the rear directional bulbs, but because we know that they're soldered in place on that rear light assembly. I guess if someone wanted to, they could unsolder them.

I'll patiently wait for the answer to satisfy my curiousity.

Regards,

paul...

Actually, I didn't. I took the whole rear assembly out, then I took the yellow glass casing/reflector surrounding the bulb off, there are two clip-on's on each side. During the day, the effect is a not so white blinker but definitely not yellow. At night though, it's a satisfying bright white blinker, almost as if you change into bright white bulbs.

Hope this helps.

White rear turn signals are illegal.

Yes, we know, but rarely enforced.

so the signal in the tail light housing is not a yellow bulb but a white bulb with yellow reflectors? so you took the whole assembly off using the 8mm wrench and all you had to do is remove the yellow reflectors? i tried getting back there but attempted to just remove the board where the bulbs are hooked into but couldnt cuz its screwed down with a 8 point start screw.

The bulbs are regular, not yellow and they have two yellow reflectors on each side.

I'm not too sure of what you're talking about, I must have tried taking those reflectors off without taking the whole assembly out but i figured it would be tough to fish out the reflectors once it was unclipped. They will drop a bit deeper into the assembly and you'd be operating in such a cramped space. I'm not an expert but the previous procedure worked just fine for me.
