Slight differences in COMAND units?

Hey there. I'm intrigued by what appear to be slightly different models of COMAND for the W211. I know of at least three model designations (7039, 7023 and 6061) and I've also heard of references to "high headunits" and "mid headunits".

What are the major differences in these models, if any? Are there other model numbers out there also?

If I'm in the market for a COMAND unit to replace my Audio 50, I'd like to be sure that I get the proper model!

Thanx everyone!

Audio 50.. that's the normal one right?
I would like to know as well, as my dealer told me that it is very hard to change from a normal unit to a COMAND unit. The CoMAND looks so much nicer with the LCD... someone pls enlighten us.

Is the swap from a normal unit to a Comand unit difficult? Any experience?

I've heard everything from "plug-n-play swap" to "impossible". While I don't believe it to be impossible, the p-n-p claims seem equally spurious.
