I loved the Benz but wanted something bigger. The A8 doesn't do much for me nor does the S due to the flared wheel wells and the 7 is approaching redesign. Plus, the new LS looks really nice and is a great luxo cruiser.I will be back to the Germans soon. I am first on the list for the 2009 BMW 7 and I can't wait!

Is this the future of our cars or is the typical LS buyer so old they can't drive???? L.O.L...
But you are right, most are older. I was invited to a special preview of the LS and everyone was thinking that my wife and I were kids. 45 and up was typical.I don't think that most cars will ever offer the advanced parking system. However, if it works well, the high end ones will probably put it together as an option. I don't expect it to be standard on any car (even the LS) for at least 15-20 years (even Navigation isn't standard on a Lexus LS yet). It is pretty neat technology though.

H-O-H - BMW is testing the "self parking" car too.
You know that M-B can't be without it now. I'm lucky in that my wife is very good about never curbing the wheels on any of our cars but I know that plenty of guys aren't blessed with a woman such as mine.
Personally I doubt I would order that feature but it is kind of neat.
When I'm 80 though... (provided I'm still above ground) I'd probably love the self parking thing.

Unlike most online videos, you can skip the pre-ad. Wonder why the W211 in the next space was parked the wrong way with its hood up. I'm not surprised by the hood-up part, but parked the wrong way?
Good points, as are his reasons for going with the LS this time around. I can respect that.

You won't be sorry going to the Lexus LS series....they make great cars that are fun to drive. The best part is, you can drive them every day, rather than spending all your time at the dealer's getting the car fixed.

This is a market that is highly lucrative for Ford and it will not be overlooked I am sure.
