New command unit/cd 's skipping
I took my 2003 E to the dealer last week to complain of the single cd unit skipping on commercial made cd's. The tech heard the skipping and wanted to try another of my commercial cd's, as the one that he heard the skipping on was dirty and had some scratches. After awhile the commercial cd that he choose from my collection began to skip as well....although he was not in the car to hear it.
They ordered a new (I guess I will have to look at the manufacture date of the "new" unit) command unit and want to install it.
Can anyone think of questions or concerns to address prior to this install?

You've got to believe that at the very least, before it left the service facility, the 1 thing they would do would be to check the single slot CD. In some cars it would be the only CD player in the car, and that would be the most likely repair to the unit in the 1st place.
