pic of a pewter silver E plz
just ordered e500 pewter/ash and haven't really seen ne nice examples of that color yet. Tactite grey or capri blue were my first choices but the $1200 or so extra for those colors were not worth it. Also would like to see a good example of platinum blue also. Plz post pic if you have thanks.

thanks for the tip, I guess I'll just have to do a search on it. its too bad no one has put together a comparison pic with the w211 in all the colors in one thread tho. Would make things a bit easier to see all the colors side by side.

wewu, the link rayscar gave didn't work for me, I am not sure it worked for you. But what may be even better for you to see many models in pewter (including a new AMG SL55!!!), click on the "search" button above and enter the search term "pewter". Many of the threads have pics of pewter cars. I think they are beautiful. I have seen a few in person and it is my favorite.

Check the gallery at www.w211.de the gallery 5 should have some pics of a pewter and a silver E class together. I am not really a fan of the pewter, i like a more sporty color like B silver, black or even a blue. can anyone tell me what color this is? is it capri?

Tezta, I know it is a matter of taste, so I am not criticizing your comment about pewter not being sporty enough. But I thought it interesting that the first SL55 delivery commented and pictured on mbworld is pewter!!! Here is the link: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...ghlight=pewter

I understand it is totally about taste, but the E-class is a sedan and i like the E very much, but since i am into tuned cars, i want a sporty color, to go with the body kit/wheels i will put on. Then again the SL500 is such a beautiful automobile, it can come in almost any color and still look spectacular. I would have to say i really dig the pewter on the SL, but just not on the E. Here is an example of a non sporty color on an extremely sporty car that i really like too.
