Now a third model for the six-disc changer?
Maybe this is news (or not), but can someone please clarify how MH-3512 is different from the two other in-dash models that I know of:

MH-3510 = not MP3 compatible

MH-3511 = MP3 compatible

MH-3512 = ?????

I think I answered my own question.

It appears that WMA might be supported with model 3512.

First thing to note is that CD on Mercedes' salvage operation's eBay posting is for a Sprinter, i.e.van. Do you think it fits a W211 as well?

Pretty sure it does. There are a number of other listings for MH-3512 units that indicate compatibility with W211. I only posted this link because it was the only one that indicated the file types the player was compatible with.

I do find it odd though, that the Sprinter page seems to suggest that this model is compatible with WMA files prior to version 9, if my poor understanding of German is correct.
