ok aside from color, are those 18" AMG style IV multi piece? Do those actually fit the W211? Im still confused regarding that since ive got wheels made for the 211 but i had to have the lug nuts modified, but those are C/CLK wheels so did they need to be modified to accomodate the 14mm bolts used on the larger cars?

The colour code is 747 -Perlight grey here in Hong Kong,and I believe it's call Granite grey metalic in US. And yes, those are replica 18" AMG. :p They are from my C320. Actually, the W211 can take the wheels from a C(W203) or CLK. But the W211 wheels won't fit on the C (W203).

2004 E270CDi Avantgarde Auto
UK Newbie - E270CDi
Finally got my new car last Friday 
. Excellent dealer handover (MB of Milton Keynes, UK) and prep. Pics in my sig were taken at the dealership before I took it out in the rain and got it dirty 
I am having great fun playing with all the toys. First mods already completed - sidelights upgraded to PIAA Platinum White, front indicators to Philips Silvervision and Mains replaced with Osram Silverstar H7s 
I will get round to the obligatory UK MBClub alloy pedal mod soon!

I just got my new 2004 E500 three weeks ago. Brilliant silver, ash interior, new CL grill, flat emblem, Navigation, hands-free communication system (V60 phone), Voice Control System, Sirius Satellite radio. Next project will be illuminated door sills and Bi-Xenon headlights.

Car definitely has a dead spot off idle in traffic, transitioning to surging in COMFORT mode if leaving a stop in the city and if flooring it to get going. I do think the electronics mapping needs some revisioning, but it has been the most rewarding new car yet in last 7+ years. I can always pre-load via left foot braking, a technique I am always perfecting for the track anyway. :v

Got my new e320 about four weeks ago. Thanks to everyone... this board is has been so helpful. Started doing a bunch of mods (Steve - MbenzNL did my Euro Comand). Working on how to get a GPRS enabled PC into the 6 cd changer slot.

Congratulations!!! Beautiful car, beautiful color(same as mine). All you need next is the CL grill, flat hood emblem, hands free communication, Voice Control System, illuminated sills.............Your pocket book will now be forever empty.

Are the front number plates used solely for advertising as they appear quite 'big' compared to the European front plates.

Forgive the poor quality of the pics, but only had low pixel video camera on me. Wheels fitted today and just had to post because they are terrific (IMO!). See the separate post.
