PLEASE ADVISE - Stereo, front center speakers rattle
I'm having an issue with the front center speakers and/or grill on my
'04 E500, in dash 6 disc, non-NAV, non HK.
On some CD's, during quiet dynamic parts of the music, the center speakers seem to rattle. Sometimes, I believe its the speakers firing specific frequencies into the grill, making the grill rattle. If I put my hands on the grill, it will seem to stop, but its pretty tough to drive like that..
To add, on softer music, it seems like the speaker is blown, or not firing properly possibly as part of the surround effect? I don't think the grill is rattling, because it happens under lower volume or higher volume, so it seems more like a speaker is blown.
When I crank up the volume loud on jammin' songs, the rattle is still there, but its not really noticeable. On quiet songs turned up loud its definitely there.
Not sure exactly on this one, but has anyone else had this mysterious problem coming from the front??

Man, you are awesome Konigstiger. Thanks! Does this code: P-B-82.62/537 OCT06 mean that the dealer can/should fix under warranty?
