Service Campaign-= Clean Sleeves Front Axle
Anybody know about this process ? They did it to my car in September and I had some fairly new tires- and right after ward the tires wore out on the inside tread. . Car has never wore out tires to the inside.
Before This dealer visit, my steering wheel sat a few degrees pointing right when wheels straight and level. Upon picking it up the steering wheel sat dead center but they swore they never did anything. ????
I had rotated the tires in October and all must have been ok, no one said anything.
Now in December the tires are totally shot on the inside- I had all four replaced and MB did a 4 wheel alignment.
Service Advisor swears they did not change anything, and the Service Manager says the Clean of the axle sleeves does not involve alignment.
But something happened. I alone drive the car and I have not hit a pot hole, curb or otherwise.
Anybody else have a similar story ? Am I off base ?
