Pictures... finally!
Here she is - 
Black with Sahara Leather interior, P1, sport and split folding seats. The interior is gorgeous - reminds me of my old Audi S4, almost the same colors. Power is on par with the E430, just without the V8 grunt - more seamless.
Washed her and of course it rained the next day.

Beautiful ride. Thanks for sharing the pics. It keeps me going till we get ours. Test drove one today as my wife had driven it but not me. Confirmed our order and got a build date of Jan. 19th. Estimated delivery mid March. Enjoy the car.

E compares...
I saw a flint / congnac (special order) when I was picking up mine. Some people may like it, but I don't. It's almost like the cinnamon that BMW was offering in the M3.
As for comparing the two (E430 and E350) - they have almost the same power. The E350 seems more seamless, with the 430 there was the V8 roar / grunt. They drive quite similar.
I know the beige is going to be hard to keep clean especially with the kids, but its worth it, plus its only on the seats. I think its stunning.
One other note - there appear to be very few Sahara interior cars out there. Almost all the E350s are MBtex. I saw the interior on the SAKS car and asked if it could be ordered. Found out there were only 2 in CA.... its mostly a special order option, just got lucky the dealer was able to direct it in from the port.
