Subwoofer Rattle?
Hi, I have a 2003 E320. WHen music ith bass is played, there is a rattle in the back area of the car, right above the subwoofer right behind the rear seats. Is this normal? I ask because this can get quite annoying hearing this annoying rattle without clean bass.
Thanks!

Response to Konigstiger:
I have the Logic 7 option under the audio settings so I guess that means I have the HK system. On the top of the inside of my trunk is the sub woofer. The sound that I hear when going over bumps is much different, when going over bumps it kind of sounds like a train but only on the back right side. The sub woofer rattle sounds more like plastic vibrating. I do not have split folding rear seats. I do not have any distortion, the sound system works fine besides the plastic sound rattle. It is coming from the back seats from behind them where they connect to the rear wind shield. This problem is probably caused by the subwoofer being near to that area and causing it to rattle, but it doesn't seem like it should be like that. These cars are pretty expensive and are known for their smooth and silent rides, so I just got a bit skeptical. Thanks!

my car is having exactly the same problem. to the point i thought the subwoofer was blown out, i called the dealership and they told me it would cost me 650 dollars to replace (horrible), is there anyway we can cancel out he sub and maybe get a bass box installed instead, that would be alot cheaper?
