gps is not working! help?

gps is not working! help?
hi guys, greetings from greece
it's my first post here
so here's the problem
the car has audio aps 50 navigation (European)
i had version 2.2 which didn't have greece in it.
gps showed 000 as the coordinates (or something like that)
it might be because the disc has no greece, i thought
so i update* with version 4.1 (which has greece in disc4) and gps still doesn't work
what's up with it?
also after the update the compass(the thingie that shows W/N/NE etc) seems to be broken and the music continues playing even after the key is not inserted
any help will be appreciated
