New E Owners Having Too Much Fun to Post Pictures and Lease Terms?????
I'm new at digital cameras myself. Just got this fantasticly small, tiny actually and only about 5 oz. and 3-inches square and 0.8 inches thick but only 2 megapixels (minolta dimage-x). Most people I know end up shooting at resolutions of about 2 MP even if their cameras are capable of 3 or 4 because the shots at 4 MP are such huge files and hence you can't store as many on the camera's media. Also, unless you are enlarging beyond 8x12 you should never need 4 MP. Of course, if you shoot at 4 MP you can crop and enlarge and still make good enlargements of the 'zoomed' image which you couldn't do on a zoomed 2 MP image.
Just what I've heard.
