Cleaning supplies. Wax

Hello everyone. I'm very new to the forum however have enjoyed reading all the posts by all the members. I recently leased a Black 2007 E350 with sports package and I am loving the car.

Questions I have are: 1) What is the easiest way to clean the tire rims? Also what are the best supplies/brushes to use? I want to be careful not to use any chemical or brush that might scratch the rims.

2) What is a good wax to use for the car that is easy to apply and easy to work with.

Any help you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Try the "Detailing and Automotive Care" section of this forum. That's where the moderator will probably move your post anyway, since it isn't specific to W211s.

I use this and simple green for cleaning the wheels.... http://www.autogeek.net/ezdetailbrush.html
You can even clean behind the spokes with this.

I use the mcguires wax.
