Looking to Lease E550

In New York City outer boro ... 39 or 48 months 15k .. 0 down ... credit score 863

Definite Options:

Premium 2, Wood Leather Wheel,Split Seat

I was looking into the sport package at no extra cost but I like the AMG sport package better, so that may be an option.

BTW ... where is the tire pressure monitoring system listed as an option? I don't see it.

I have an '03 E500 that is going back. I am paying $859/mo taxes included from Chase .. 0 down 48 months 12k year. I will hand it in with 50K miles so I have to pay $600 over miles plus $350 disposition.

Ray Catena quoted me at $893 for the E550 for 39 months .. 0 down, 12k miles for Premium 1 and split seat.

You should get a "loyalty" discount fro going from MB lease to MB lease.

TPMS is not available as an option in the USA this year. I had it in my '04 & it intermittantly failed ...repeatedly. Canada has a TPMS that does NOT display tire pressure, but uses the ABS system to monitor individual tire rotational speeds to report that you should "Check your Tire Pressures". Primitive, but it works (in my Wife's '02 Olds Intrigue).

I'd rather not have something on my '07 if it doesn't work right all of the time.

$893 for 39Months!!!! I think that's pretty good. You can also go to the website and do some calculations. On the package you mention above for 39months it shows monthly $993. That's what I got from the site but its always different when you go to the dealership.

Good Luck

I believe the Money Factors used on the MBUSA site are conservative MB Financial figures whereas, the dealer can choose to finance the car thru MB Financial or other Local Banks where they & the bank have their own bulk finance rates, which float at certain pre-arranged levels.

Thats why the deals change somewhat between your visit to the website & your visit to the dealership.

Yes they are pretty good with me there (at Ray Catena). I had a ball joint problem and had to take the current car back 4 times last fall to get it fixed. I was getting a chirp sound in the right front that no one could figure out. For my aggravation they are sending me a check for $860 to cover a month's lease payment. I sure hope they can accomodate me on that AMG Sport Package for the E550.

The most important issue whether buying or leasing is the selling price. To put it in a better way, what are you paying in comparison to the dealer's invoice (his cost). Monthly payment alone does not tell us whether you got a good/bad deal. You can easily find out the dealer's cost on the internet, such as Edmunds. I know Ray Catena and I also know with their volume, you can get a really good price if you focus on the dealer invoice rather than the monthly payment. Hope this helps

With the lousy trade in that we get these days and the dismal prices of used MB, I would lease my next car also, MB or not.

I'd take an E550 for that rate with $0 Down. Most dealers ask $1000 or above per month for 39months, and of course depends if you wanna put some down. I would like to visit that dealer.
