there is a setting somewhere to show intersections and mine does that on the top and the bottom of the screen

Distance/Time Remaining on Full Screen Map
I can't get the distance to destination to show up on my map screen of my 2006; I know I can activate the soft keys and press info to get the distance remaining. I can get the satellite info to show on the map, but has anyone figured out a way/hack to get the remaining distance to show?
