Finale to Lease Options

So we got a few options today since its coming close to the end of the lease. We've used 37,233 out of 48,750 (money comes back!). We can lease the car for another 9 months and get a whopping $35 off the lease price

We can buy the car at $30,750, as it was $33,450 but she took off some for a reason (beyond me!) and finance it thrugh MB Credit at 6.99% (lowest, even with Tier 1) at $655.65/month for 60 months...

With financing that long, that DOES change the price of the car. How similar is that monthly payment when compared to a NEW car? ...and do you want to own a 211 that's that old? (worried about repairs w/ no warranty?)

42K is the full retail value of the car as if the dealer sold it off the used lot. I agree. Lease a new one.. I think with the 211's Leasing is the way to go.

Leasing does not really work for high mileage drivers

At 30K miles per year I doubt if I could have found an attractive lease. Even with a few thousand dollars in annual repairs my cost per mile to own the car will still be reasonable.

Please give update on the stupendous deal on a 07 CLS550. We are also interested in buying or leasing one. It's a toss btw E class or the CLS. If the price is right, we might go for the CLS.
