MB does use several shipping lines. However, Wallenius ships to Baltimore (your VPC).
Your dealer, in having already given you the VIN (confirm that it is correct), can see if the vehicle is processed (i.e.: ready to ship, shipped, vessel name, en route from the VPC, etc.). Talk to the sales manager and request that you be kept informed.

Something was put into the car that is a wrong part, a malfunctioning part, or has been determined to have recall potential. & they can fix a bunch of cars all at once better & faster than dealers who will have to practice to get up to speed.

My car is still at the VPC in Jacksonville
My car a CL550 was due at the port on 2/16. As of today almost 2 weeks later it is still at the port. Per my sales rep there are other cars the dealership is waiting for and none have been released. Not sure if they are the same model.
I am hoping they didn't drop the car unloading it....

We're awaiting more detailed photos. I might have taken your advice concerning wood trim with the black dashboard but, didn't know the standard maple was an option with the sport pkg.
Really getting anxious, haven't special ordered a car in 25 years, grown accustomed to "instant gratification"!
But yes, I think it will be worth the wait...at least it BETTER BE! LOL

Just checked ships schedule and it seems it stopped off in NY today and departed for Baltimore with ETA Friday.
Why the NY stop-off and they could have simply unloaded my car before leaving!

I got black wood in mine because the colors in the Ash interior put the Black wood between a darker color gray dash pad & a lighter colored gray dash lower portion, so the Black wood "pops".
