About to pull the trigger on an 03 E500 Sport
I drove it about 30 minutes ago and loved it. Silver and grey, sport, xenons, black wood trim, etc. Overall super solid and this car has perfect paint, minimal driver's seat wear, and barely noticeable wear on some of the mesh pillar trim down low. Everything works great on the car. Mileage is high but I am not worried about it. I drive very little and my 98 E430 is still marketable enough to sell quickly. Sale price is $20,900 on the E500! I am ready to jump on it if I can get the dealer to take my E Class on trade........
What I wanna know is does anyone here have one and how do they like it, problems, etc.?

I have one, I like it and we haven't had many problems. I would differ with people who say that you should avoid the '03, though everyone is entitled to their opinion. Ours is not a Sport, but the Sport package was mostly cosmetic in '03. Our car only has 27K miles, though. If yours has high mileage, chances are that some of the known problems of the '03 - audio system "rebooting" or engine mounts among them - have already been taken care of or didn't happen.
Gotta say that the price you were offered, $20,900, is pretty depressing to me, unless the car has really high miles. The '03's bad rep for reliability may have something to do with that.

90K mi. Mileage is not an issue with me. I am in TX. Even with the mileage I am still way below book. Do you guys like them? I only noticed the seating position was strange. Thigh support seemed lacking.

ooh. are you sure? it is pretty high. i think the average miles should be around little more than half that.
no matter what car is it but once the mile hits 100k, there are lots of mechanical problems that need to be addressed. moreover an '03 is the first major redesign for the E so there might be more problems down the pipe.
you would have to not drive the car for quite awhile to bring down the miles but then why spend money on a car if you couldn't drive it.

100K service takes care of that. Did the same thing with my 98 and it cost about $400. My buddy's W209 E320 went to 238,000 and blew a head gasket finally last week. No other issues. He bought it with 100k on it. I'd rather have a newer car with more miles than an older one with high miles.
