Chicago Area Comand Version Coders?

I've got a Euro Comand in my E500 and am not able to access the engineering menu. I can access the NAV+5 Service menu and the 5-3-7 keypad menu, but for some unknown reason I cannot access the engineering menu.

Steve(MBNL) mentioned in a post that:

"If you can find a shop with a tool to versioncode the comand for TV & DVD in motion enabling, they can still help you out (no need to swap the EURO comand out - just get it coded), but that will cost more then a 30USD ebay guide (which only works on a limitted amount of comands anyways...but that is something that Ebay sellers usually don't bother to advertise)."

I know many of these version coding instruments/shops exist in Europe.
I wanted to know if there were any in Chicago or the Chicagoland area where I could get MP3 Playback, Comand DVD region changes and DVD in Motion activated. I'm not interested in paying 400+USD for an instrument that I'll use only once.

If anyone knows a place or can get me in contact with some place...it'd be super.
Thanks

Thanks Mark, I messaged him earlier today.

I was wondering what the hell kind of computer is needed to alter the Comand?
the TVandNAV(MBWorld sponsor) quoted me at $250 to allow my euro Comand to be DVDinMotion, Region Free, and Mp3 Capable. That seems pretty steep for a computer to be plugged in and a few keystrokes to change my settings. Probably 5 minutes at most?
Ridiculous pricing if that what is required to enable the Comand to do so...
eh, Supply and Demand..

The Price is $250.00 Because.......

Factor in a OE Mercedes Benz Star aka SDS W/Cables/Multiplexor aprox 10/15K
Add In Software from Mercedes Aprox $400.00 Per Month

Its The Price One Pays to get things done that are NOT Possible from our US dealers....Modding does NOT come Cheap!

I heard from someone that Steve is making a trip to SoCal in a week or so.

Any confirmation on that? I'm going to be in Arizona soon(weekend trip) and was thinking I can schedule it around Steve's meet.

Would he be able to enable my Comand's goodies if I only brought him my comand?
If Steve won't come to me soon(Chicago) looks like I'll come to him

A lens implant used in cataract surgery only costs a couple of dollars, yet the Doctors charge so much to install it.... Its just business, and supply and demand.
