Stone interior w/ sport package, anyone has pic.?
Hi everyone on board,
I like the stone interior very much, I also like the sport package. But it is very hard to imagine hows the black bird-eye maple trim looks on stone interior. Any one has seen this combination? How does it looks? Any pictures or links? Thanks!

Nice pics. No you can't get burl with the sports package. It only comes in birdseye. MB should give us that choice. I might have gotten the S package then.

Every time i see the Black birds eye i think of BMW. A friend of mine bought an E36 3-series coupe, silver with black interior and the black birds eye. Nice car very sporty, but to me MB is all about Lux, i am a big fan of the Burr or chesnut wood trim, with stone, or charcoal.

no problem Dlau. i agree Tezta. i like the lighter wood with the charcoal interior. i guess we have to order designo huh? i think the black birdseye looks great with the stone interior. but with the darker interiors i wish the offered a choice.

i received my car last week. pewter with stone and the s package. i had posted earlier that i was worried about the stone and black wood but ir really looks great and after seeing it a few times, i actually prefer it to the burl. however, i still think that the burl looks great too.

i'll try but posting on an internet bullitin board is about as computer saavy as i get. let me just say i was very pleased with the way my car came out, and i am very hard to please. i will have a friend of mine with a digital camera take some pics this week.

stickyc, I am no expert, but I think that the way to do it is to start a "reply" on this bulletin board, then to put in what you want to say and then to go down to the "attach file" area on the reply and "browse" your computer for the file containing the picture or pictures. When you find the file, double click on it and the file name should show in the "attach file" space before you post the reply. I am going to try that here to show the picture of the next car I would like after the E500, the C219 "CLE".
Perhaps others who post pictures can fill both of us in on other ways to post pictures.
