Tony, I have some MB part numbers and prices for the sport parts for E500:
Front skirt: B6 603 6143 Euro1150.00
Rear skirt: B6 603 6147 Euro850.00
Side skirts B6 603 6145 Euro850.00 each
Dual, twin pipe exhaust: B6 603 6142 Euro 1100.00
E55-look AMG 19' rims (styling IV--
8.5J for front: B6 603 1360 Euro1305 each
9.5J for rear: B6 603 1361 Euro1345 each
These are to be available via MB dealers in Canada very shortly.
After you add up the costs for parts alone, and the necessary Factory "sport" pkg (to get the bi-Xenons, and the instrument cluster) you may find that you will pay just a little less than the real thing E55 and still have no Man-eater, Monster engine that E55 has. Take my advice: GET the sport pkg, and buy just the exhaust for now. Next year get the real E55, for the estimated CAD105-109000.00

Are you using a verifible source for the price estimate of the CAD 2004 E55. $109k cad equals $68k usd. That seems a little low. Thanks.

My question is: Why would you want to pay $ 2799 just for the kit plus another 1k for the muffler since the option from the factory is $3280.00 installed of course.

Crazy4Cars, I've ordered the E500 sport and live in the Detroit metro area, but in the US the sport is not the same as the AMG kit. Thanks for the info.
Also does anyone know if the current exhaust on the sport will still fit with the AMG rear apron? That is until I can afford the AMG dual exhuast.

dalibor21, the stock E500 tailpipe is shorter and points downward...it will "fit" the AMG rear apron, wich is cut out to accept the longer and more bulky tailpipes from AMG, but it will look cheezy.

2003 mercedes E 500
E500 in the bordeaux color has just arrived. I will b picking it up on Thursday. AMG E55 bodykit/exhaust and 19" Lorinser LM5 chrome rims/ Bridgestone 245/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear will b installed on Nov/14. They r also gonna lower the ride, not sure by how much but will know when rims r put on. I will post pics within 2 weeks. TY all 4 the replies n help :-)

hi Kev......wow, i just finished posting message 2 mins ago.....lol.....anyway, AMG performance will be reprogramming the settings on the airmatic suspension....The owner, Ricky, mentioned something about borrowing an equipment from the MB service department to do the lowering....i will find out more from him when i drop off my car there next week...

Not bad for aftermarket thats around $5700 US, I got all the AMG styling aerodynamic, exahust and wheels for a bit less than $5000 (From the factory as factory option code 772) .. Ofcourse I didn't have to get the cluster since I have the Avantgarde model which is identical except for the V8 Kompressor imprint and ofcourse the 300KM speedo..

Got It !!!!
.......Picked it up a day ago......love it.....MB has done an excellent job developing the new W211.....gonna have a hard time trying to keep the stone interior clean, but oh well....its beautiful, its worth the extra $$$ to have it detailed 1 a week ...lol.....anyways, i will post some pics tomorrow or next day....and post pics again sometime after the 15th when i get it back from AMG ......enjoy your E as i will mine
