AMG bodykit & accesories for 2003 E500
Hi all, im waiting for my 2003 E500 to arrive.....does anyone know if the AMG front/rear bumpers, exhaust is available in canada?.....what is the difference between the sport package and AMG?....plz help.....thx

What I heard is that the AMG Sports Package will be available sometime after March.
Personally, I prefer the AMG aerokit than what is being offered now in the "mickey mouse" sports package.
If you can't wait, you can order the AMG aerokit and staggered alloy wheels available from the E55 parts list.
Did the same modification on my C320.

I know the dif. between the sport packages in the US and outside, and I perfer the AMG style (outside US). Are you saying that the AMG style body kit can be ordered through the dealer? On my older E I tried that and the dealer needed a vin# for a E55 or they could not order it. If anyones has any info on how I could get one, I would be greatfull.

That is the standard answer...
Dalibor21, it will depend how hard the P&A guys at the dealership will work for you.
Sometimes, if the model has not yet been introduced (W211 E55 in USA/Canada), the central parts depot may not supply the parts. I feel MB require VIN so as not to promote conversions and to protect their profits/exclusivity of the AMG models.
Maybe you can try to ask the help of fellow European posters for information on part numbers and/or VIN as the E55 (W211) is already on sale there. Good luck.
Don't forget, you will need the twin exhaust pipes in this case. Maybe the modification will be a bit more complicated and expensive than expected. I am thinking of just holding back and wait till MB releases the AMG sport package instead of doing the conversion myself.

If you are referring to W210 E55 then the Mercedes Dealer is the last place to buy AMG parts. Their prices are usually the highest.
AMG body kits, wheel, etc for W210 can be found at many aftermarket companies. There are custom car shops in your area that can sell AMG also:

Yessssssssssssss........i just got a phone call from my local amg specialist saying they will b able to get the aerokit/exhaust as early as Oct/15th.......im very excited that i dont have to settle with the MB sport package.......i cant wait til i put on some 19 inch chrome rims along with the kit.....i will b posting some pics as soon as its done.....ty all for trying to help....i appreciate it very much

hi Kev.....i live in vancouver which is only a 3 hr drive from Seattle....the weather here is beautiful....we do get alot of rain in the fall....but im sure i'll b ok since i wont b driving my car in the winter.....im picking up a 2003 Acura MDX in 2 weeks....thx 4 your concerns tho....talk to u soon :-)

Tony, what exactly did your AMG specialist say? Is the AMG sport package available to order on a car from the factory, or are you just talking about getting the parts? Is your AMG specialist the MB dealer?

the amg parts r coming from a shop in vancouver......they have direct access to germany which makes things a whole lot easier....

W212 E350 AMG E63 Pack.
Here in Panama the AMG option was $3200.00, which is the Front and Rear Bumper and the dual exhaust.
Rims are separate and they quoted me $2900.00 for the 18 inch package which I didn't get since I'm in the wheels business and I'm going with 19x8.5 19x10 wheels.

An interesting set of wheels and trim is shown on the MB website for France accessible through www.mercedes.com. I am not great on French so I just clicked around. Look for "Modeles" (not Heidi Klum!!) then "Berlines" then the E class. If I could read French, perhaps I could figure out whether the wheels shown are the AMG style III wheels that they look like or otherwise. But the wheels and trim shown are quite nice.
You can also see the car with different colors a bit better than the MBUSA site by going to the area entitled "Couleurs". Once you figure out the names (i.e., "Argent Cubanite" is Pewter Silver) clicking on the color of your choice brings up much more of a photo type picture than does the MBUSA site.
Just for fun, I browse around the different countries for new pics and videos. For example, take a look at the Hong Kong site. Have fun!!

i will b stopping by amg performance next monday to go pick out the rims (19s) i want and figure out prices.....the amg exhaust i ordered is the same one on the new E55......the shop will also replace the "E500" emblem with "AMG"......this is gonna make alot of people think for a minute when they see it.....lol........the owner of the shop was telling me alot of americans from wahsington, california travel up to vancouver just to get their MBs modified....the exchange rate is good and parts r easily found since they are the ONLY amg dealer in Canada.....i will post the prices for aerokit/exhaust next week..... :-)

Not bad for aftermarket thats around $5700 US, I got all the AMG styling aerodynamic, exahust and wheels for a bit less than $5000 (From the factory as factory option code 772) .. Ofcourse I didn't have to get the cluster since I have the Avantgarde model which is identical except for the V8 Kompressor imprint and ofcourse the 300KM speedo..

btw.....just want to clarify the exhaust that i ordered from AMG is the exact same one on the w211 E55....it is the quad exhaust with dual oval tips on each side

Let me clarify something here. The Avantgarde Gauge cluster is the same for the E55 , the only difference are the needles that are red and it says V8 compressor below the tach.
Options 772 is just for the Aero Kit not rims.
I also ordered the AMG package and for either the 320 or 500 the muffler tips will be 1 oval tip per side, not twin tips like you mentioned.
The only AMG exhaust that comes with twin tips is the E55 version.
