You can order DVD Navi now at $500 discount and take delivery of the car without DVD Navi when the car is ready. Then when the DVD comes in (Jan or Feb), they will retrofit the DVD for you at no extra cost. The DVD unit apparantly can be retrofitted into the same area that the current display screen + cassette deck are occupying. Keep in mind that if you go with DVD / Navi, you will lose the casette player.
