What exactly does the E320 sport package include?
After reading in a few threads that the E320 sport package includes leather and airmatic, I took a ride to my local dealer only to find that the sticker on a newly delivered E320 charged for premium leather. The sticker also made no mention of airmatic, either as a seperate line item or in the description of the sport package. So what is the real deal? What excatly does the E320 sport package include? The mbusa website is of no help because it charges if you select it and doesn't if you don't regardless if the E3 package is selected. The 2003 E-class brochure states that the E3 package *REQUIRES* airmatic and premium leather. If that is true then it is the biggest ripoff I've ever seen. Any MB dealers here care to shed some light on the situation?

If you do some math, you will find:
The difference of the E2 for 320 and 500 is $2425 (3800- 1375).
The ADC standard on the E500 will make the difference down to $850 which it's reasonable to pay that amount to the 17" wheels.
But if you add the $1440 leather, that will make the 320 E3 package more affordable than the one for the 500. Not likely MB will make E320 owners happier the E500 owners.
I guess leather is not in the package. But ADC should.

The sport package is great but this early in the new model watch out for EVERYTHING. My E500 Sport came with M & S tires, NOT the stated high performance tires.
That is the first I have heard about the double charge for the leather seats (i thought it stated 'requires full leather').
I am not saying that kassav is incorrect about the inclusion of full leather in the Sport Pacakge for the E320 but the web site configuration, details and pricing to not indicate that full leather is included in the sport package.
Partial leather is not available on the e500 (Full leather is the only option). therefore it is not part of the Sport Package on the e500.
