I may be able to help you out. I have a V60s cradle and MB phone I would love to sell as a set. I suppose it depends on what cheap means.

I'll send you a PM.

updated V60s from Verizon erases MB software..

funny... I just bought a new V60s MB phone off eBay for $50 .. new in the box... when I installed in into the phone cradle that I have.. it was difficult to fit into the cradle and the car did not "see" the phone.. if I pressed down and back into the cradle.. then the car would see my phone... I checked the cradle part numbers.. and discovered that my cradle was for a V60 (dunno about what the differences are between the V60 and V60s... but clearly something is) My phone came with the extended battery... so I took the back off and it seemed to work better.

Yesterday.. I proceeded down to the Verizon store.. at first he said they couldn’t get it to work cause it was old tech... finally, the turned it on.. on the way home I did the *228 update ...

when I put it into the car... no phone book, no service, and when it did finally "see" the phone.. it kept telling me to turn the phone on! MB corporate service told me that doing the update squashes the "required" MB software in the phone and that they cannot reinstall!! F*** ME!

SoOOOO as you can see I'm just a little perturbed! And all of this is because my Q has updated software that MB has not approved for the MHI Bluetooth interface will work with........

how much do you want?

Some dealers have installed a black plastic spacer into the cradle that clearly says is for use with the standard battery. Your extended battery is thick so it is not allowing the phone to seat into the connectors.

I find it hard to believe that the phone's MB software has been rewritten, by a Verizon DL. Call wireless4mb.com & ask them if you can send it in for a repair. (Flash)

Otherwise the guys on Ebay sell MB flashed phones. Once you get used to full integration its hard to go back. Also, the *228 "OPTION 2" is the DL that updates roaming capability in the phone. I have done this in the past. Verizon says it should be done monthly while in your home area.

I did talk to the guys at wireless4mb... they don't think that the flash *228 would be an issue (that is a direct contradiction to what the MBUSA guy said)

I didn't think so either. Be sure you don't have that black plastic filler sheet in behind the phone keeping your phone from seating onto the contacts properly. (It looks like part of the cradle... like a false back, & snaps out.)
