2003 E500
Got the stereo checked out. Took them 2 days! But at least they gave me a loaner. Apparently they uploaded any service updates, etc, and the final diagnoses says something like, left car running for 4 hours with stereo on and no noticable problems occured. WHAT! They left my car on and running for 4 hours!!!! That doesn't sound like something you should do to any car just stationary in one place. What do you guys think?
In addition I thought there was a weird ticking sound I heard and after they checked it out they told me thats just how the V8 sounds on the E500 and its not coming from the engine its coming from the exhaust manifold. Does anybody else have lame souding issue coming from the exhaust system somewhere mid way right after the engine??
