2003 E500 Whining Noise
I have had this since I got the car in 03. I hear a high pitch, dull whine at about 60 to 70 mph on the road. It goes away if I adjust the gas and then it comes back. I hate it. Has this been reported?
I saw this note on the net:
MBUSA DTB P-B-13.22/01 NOV06 - All passenger models equipped with engine M272 or M273, Whining / High pitch whistle noise coming from front of engine
Faulty upper idler pulley, replace with new unit: Tightener Pulley, part # A272 202 08 19
