Next Generation E or 5 : Check THis out !!!!

Just from the looks

WHICH ONE ROCKS ?

http://forums.automobilemag.com/70/1...ies/index.html

or the low and behold forum favorite the w212 e

http://www.cwwcardesign.com/cars/mer...t_e-class.html

THis is a tough Decision ... the 5 LOOKs like a million bucks. I like the new BMW styling starting with the 06 3's. they finally got their act together by making things symmetrical..

The 5 is UGLY! Especially the front!!

And the rear is ugly. Other than that, it’s good looking.

I'm undecided. Both look beautiful!!! Seems like MB copied the new Lexus GS model headlights.

I still like the E-Class rendering better.

The person who did the 5-Series rendering basically copy and pasted bits and pieces of the 3-Series onto the 7-Series body. Not a very good job.

That's what I thought, it looks like a 3 series coupe with 4 doors. But it is still just a rendering, could look different.

As for the E, looks nice, although everyone will think that they copied the GS lights when the GS really copied the two oval shape on their previous generation from MB in the first place. This will be the 3rd generation E-Class with 4 separate front light clusters and since MB has been making their lights more angular now, this really is just continuing with that theme not copying the Lexus. At least that is how I feel.

I'll put my vote in for the E to make 5. I really like the color of that car in the rendering.

"The new 5 Series revision may look something to the effect of the following renderings." Yup, I'll definitely take that to the bank and deposit it towards the down payment on my new 2010 Vaporwagen.

I love that color too. So classy. Looks like a cross between Andorite Grey, Tective Grey, and Flint Grey.

Future E Class v's future 5 Series

While I much prefer the current E Class W211 to this particular rendering of the future W212, the 5 Series looks just as you describe it. Given that it is at least 3 years away ( compared to 2 years for the W212), I wouldn't put too much faith in the accuracy of this rendering. However, if this 5 Series rendering does turn out be accurate, then it will be a rather boring design.

The Bimmer does in fact look too much like the 3-series. I would not like to have a car that looks like it's "little brother", if you know what I mean. It took me a while to get used to the current 5-series (not that long though) and I think it's the best looking BMW at the moment. Yup, for me it looks better than the 6-series.

The new E-series looks bit like current/new S-series, which is good thing in my opinion. It does not look too "degrade" S-series.

Of course those are just renderings guessing what's coming and I do hope BMW comes up with something else..
