The New “Columbite Black”

Anyone know anything about this new black?

I’m either ordering an ‘08 350 or, finding a black one with
P2 in inventory.

I think the current black is quite beautiful - just wondered
what could be better with “Columbite Black?”

The name "Columbite" may not be used for the US market; another member suggested "Sienna" black. What is important is the colour code #170 which is the same for both US and Canada.

Sienna Black is orderable for '08's. The Saks version had this color in '07. IN bright light you see reddish/brown specks within the depth of the metallic paint. Looks strinking. When dirty or at night, it just looks black.

08 pricing not disclosed yet, but I can't imagine it being different than any of the other metallic paints $600 - $800 - ish
