Coilovers for W211?
Wondering anyone here installed or seen coilovers on any W211? Searching the web shows that there seems only two; 1) Bilstein PSS9 and 2) KW-Variant 2.
I'm looking to tighten up the suspension on my 05 E320 CDI. I've already upgraded to 18" staggered. And figured on installing new Bilstein struts/shocks but then realize if I'm considering lowered springs, then go for the full blown coilovers. Prices seem to be around $1800, set of 4.
Any glaring warnings?

Read thru several BMW postings, comparing PSS9 versus KW V3. Briefly, PSS9 is the better choice for street and comfortable ride, even at stiffest setting. KW V3 allow one to lower more than PSS9 and provide a firmer ride, better for track.
I'm leaning towards PSS9.

I was looking for coilovers for mine too but didn't find too many resources on the web, in the end I just installed some eibach springs.

I just ordered the Bilstein PSS9 coilovers from GMP. Motivated that this setup would exceed the AMG setup. Interesting to note, Bilstein tech shared abit about the 1-9 settings relative to stock, comfort and sport. PSS9 at the softest setting #9, is 5-10% firmer than stock which is the same as Bilstien Comfort shocks. Bilstein Sport shocks are equivalent to the middle setting #5. And of course, having the ability to adjust lowering height.
