.... nothing to brag about, it is a previous model....
Am I missing something here?
Isn't W211's headlight already has "Chrome Ring" inside the lens?

This chrome ring is a peel & stick type of item that goes on top of the clear Lexan headlight housing giving it a full silver frame, or surround, which sort of elimiates the space between the painted metal of the body and the clear outer headlight.

Looks great on a lighter colored car. Not so on a darker colored car.

Chrome headlight rings=GHETTO

Those nasty rings are so freaking ghetto!!!!! Its a mercedez-benz that your driving, not a honda accord. If and when I see your car with those ghetto rings on it, my friends and I will die laughing and I will straight up **** on that car. DO NOT install those nasty chrome rings on your headlights!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for being so harsh but those kind of mods are the ones you do to a cheap japanease car!!!!

IMO, it depends on the car. I could see headlight rings on an S-Class for GL since it's so much more car. The E is a little smaller, so these types of additions tend to stick out more.

Oh! Then, that would eliminate my thought of putting them
on and trying them and if I don’t like them, return to parts.

Although I'm in the minority, I think some chrome add-ons are nice, especially on black/dark cars.
Barry's link is great, but also formymercedes.com has many items(chrome or not) and a great guy who manages it.

Have you seen chrome coverings for the B-pillar and the window trim?
I believe MB sells chrome strips to cover the bottom black strip of the windows. However I haven't seen anything for the B-Pillar which looks good on some other cars I've seen.

P.S. - Kosher, I came on MBW to show my friend a photo of a gorgeous, red E that I thought would help convince him to buy a MB, instead I ended up showing him a bright yellow Chevy.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder........I've seen some wheels on cars on this forum that I would never put on my vehicle. I've installed chrome rings on both the headlights and the rear taillights (except not the horizontal units) and chrome exhaust extensions and I like the way my vehicle looks or I woudn't have used them. It depends upon your own tastes and color of your vehicle.

you know.. this all started with the question about chrome rings around the headlights..... not pillar chrome nor wheel arch chrome... (like anyone on this forum would install those pieces?? )

I wouldn't put the rings on the tail lights (just my 2 cents).. but on the front.. it makes a big diff... (note that mine do not have a cross chrome piece that goes over the headlight like the some of the ebay versions).. also, the chrome mirror covers look quite nice on silver... I would think that they could look good on a number of colors.

these cars tend to look better, up to date, and fresher in lighter colors with light interiors..

Overbling !!! To the guy who said it's ghetto, I agree, even the ghetto people don't do that anymore, and believe me ,I know. Don't turn your Mercedes from class to trash by over doing the chrome.
